Disappering discussions? Have any of you experienced this?

I just recently answered two discussions that were quite interesting in my opinion. The first one was a dilemma-type question where you were given choices to select from, and the second one was to respond in your version of a Shakespearean language. I answered both discussions, but now I couldn't find either discussion. They didn't seem like they were in violation of any mylot rules, so I'm wondering what happened.
Anybody has an explanation? or have had a similar experience?

Yes,I have seen that happen and I have learnt that it could be breaking some guidelines.Perhaps someone had copy pasted part of another discussion into the one you responded to and it got deleted. It's hard to know if it's a copy paste with n number of discussions being floated everyday here.Just try to avoid discussions that you know are against the rules and hope someone responding after you doesn't break it either.

I agree with you on being careful about choosing discussions to join. However, the one I joined were obviously not copy and paste ones because it was written in imperfect English by the poster, but it was an interesting topic, so I decided to contribute. Oh well, I guess, I should just simply charged it to my mylot experience. LOL!

Thanks !!!

I've noticed that too, mostly in the 'today's top discussions" sections. A topic may show up on the first page and by the time I get to page three, there it is again! Every day I say I am going to write down the ones I think I might respond to, or that I think I want to read, then if they get lost, I can just search them up! (I think - so far, I haven't done that yet - keep saying I will though)!!

Oh, I understand what you are saying. Well, the order of the discussions changes quite rapidly due to the numerous number of discussions created almost every minute. So discussions that occupy front page now can immediately be relegated to several pages back to accomodate new discussions in a matter of minutes. However, what I'm looking for are discussions that completely disappeared. I guess, the mystery of the missing discussions will remain unsolved for now.
