"Who do you love more, Daddy or Mommy?" I mean, come on, why ask that question to a child? It's so wrong in so many ways: first, it creates confusion in the child; second, it makes the child think that biased thinking is okay; third, ever thought how the "second best" parent feels?
I have seen adults ask this to children a lot of times, and I get p*ssed off everytime! Why does adults think this is a "cute" question?
Ok, I understand that as we grow older, we tend to set preferences. But these kind of questions just ticks me off.
Any thoughts?

I totally agree with you,and frankly I really don't know why people do ask these questions, but i have some theories about it, like maybe the one asking the question would like to spark an intrigue with that family, or he would like to know who's the "better" parent in which he has no right to judge or know for any matter. And also maybe the person would like to know to which parent does the child have a higher affinity to- and lastly, you know how some adults are just so plain "nosy" about everything- like they just want to make a story or a controversy out of everything that is none of their business...well, this is just what i think... have a nice day =)
