Has anyone ever gone through a merger or acquistion that resulted in the loss of their job? My company was recently acquired and it resulted in the closing of three corporate support centers. I have stayed on with the company to assist with the transition but I am close to the end and I am starting to feel a little stressed. The company is providing outplacement services and I am signed up and ready to use them but I am still worried it may be a long time before I find another job. I would appreciate feedback from others about their experiences.
