Is life really worth it?

Maybe I am just having a bad day, but is life really worth it? We spend all of our childhood being told what to do. Our teen years are filled with "Learn from my mistakes don't make your own". And when you finally reach the age where you can make your own decisions, you are so busy trying to earn enough money to feed yourself and go through college that you can't live your life the way you want to. That is the phase I am in now. And looking ahead, it doesn't get better. You finish University to put your nose to the grindstone so that you can finally do what you want when you retire but when you do actually retire, you are too old to do the things you wanted to do when you were younger. And then you die. IS THERE NO HAPPY MEDIUM!?!?!?! What is the point?!

Life is what you make it i am not saying that i don't have days ehen i think that my lifes over already cause i had my daughter young and i seeem to go round in circles rather than moving forward because the whole system is messed the more you work the more you pay. but i try to focus on the positives my family friends hobbies. if you want something bad enough i believe you can get it even your motivated enough you will find happiness.

There is a really good quote, that I don't have ... but basically it says that life is not about the destination ... it's about the journey. You can't keep waiting for the day when things get better, because that doesn't happen. You have to enjoy the little things that go well each day...the lessons learned, even the bittersweet ones, the interactions with other people, and the friendships you have. That is when you start to appreciate life for what it is.
