Verify Your Paypal Email Account.

I recently opened a new Paypal account, and got it fully verified and everything. I wanted to use it to have my MyLot earnings put into there. Unfortunately, when I went to Payment Information on my account to change the paypal email address, I got a message up top saying "Please Verify Your Paypal Email Account." I'm totally not sure what that actually means. I checked to see if there was any email in my inbox that I had to click to confirm my account, but there was nothing. Does anyone know what this means and what I have to do? I tried messaging this to MyLot 2 days ago, but haven't gotten a reply yet.

I don't know where you have your e-mail sent but you should check your spam messages to see if its in there, assuming that you have a spam sorter. It might be wiser to contact paypal by phone to find out what the deal is. There are ALOT of fake e-mails going around trying to get you to type your information in so they can go clean your account out. Don't ever answer and e-mail that says it is from paypal. Just go to the site and call their 800 number to find out what the real story is!

Thank you for your response. I don't think the problem is with Paypal. I think it's a problem with MyLot. My Paypal account has been fully verified. All I need to do is to enter my new account email into the payment page of Mylot so that they know where to send my earnings to. Unfortunately, when I enter the new email address, I get a message that says I need to verify my paypal email account, and I already did that.

Yes, I gave the small amounts given to my account. There were two and Paypal asked for them both, so I gave them. Even when I log into Paypal, it shows my account as being fully verified, so I know that everything is linked up and working properly on that end. I just don't understand what the problem is at MyLots end. Thanks for the response.

As long as you verified your account and know that you did i think that it should work. So the best thing that i can suggest would eb to go in to your payment information and try again. You know what they say if at first you dont succeed try try again ... LOL! Good Luck to you though in figuring this out!!

Paypal has to wait for a apply from your bank or creditcard company. Than you will get information from paypal that it was accepted it can take a few days.

Thank you for your response. My Paypal account has been fully verified. It's a problem with MyLot telling me that I need to verify my paypal email account when I try to change the account email on the Payment Page of my profile.

Just to let you know that I have come across exactly the same problem as you - my paypal account was sorted ages ago but the message 'Please Verify Your Paypal Email Account' keeps appearing on the mylot page after I have entered my paypal email. A little more helpful information from mylot would be nice. I'll let you know if I make any progress :-)

Well I have just re-entered the data again: my email has been confirmed - I didn't have to check my email account to see if mylot had sent an email so I'm not sure what the initial delay was for.

Perhaps you should try to go back into your mylot profile and resubmit your email name for paypal again, even if it's correct? If I recall correctly I did get 2 of those too and I think that they actually HAD it all and it was correct but for some reason I still got the message. I wasn't sure until I got paid from them that it was resolved. But I do recall that I went back in and just resubmitted my email name for paypal on the MyLot account here just to be sure. Guess there's no way to tell for sure it's all okay until "pay day".

Looks like you have to verify the email address you entered in the field requirements on Paypal registration. HAve you checked your e-mail address before? Does it contain a message from Paypal account you just made? Check it out maybe you just overlooked some conformation e-mail.

That is meaning that you have to put the old paypal email account in before you can change it. It is not a bad thing. Even if it says that you should be able to request another email to verify it or you could contact them and tell them about it. Because that is not fair if you can not put your mylot funds in there. Especially when you are working so hard to get the money.
