Who thinks that Eminem's lyrics are becoming worst in quality every year?

I think so. Eminem hasn't been working on his rap lyrics as much as he use to when he was young. I find that he is trying to copy 50 cents commercial style and it's not working very well for him. Eminem was the best rapper back in the day when he was underground. He had the best delivery in his tracks, the best multi-syllable rhymes, punch-lines, word-play...everything. His style was crafted to perfection in my opinion. A good example is "Open Mic", listen to it and read the lyrics at the same time, the way he puts it all together is amazing. Anyone else have the same thoughts? Let's hear 'em :D

I think Eminem is STILL great. His new songs on his latest release, Re-Up, are just as "gritty" as ever. Everyone he collaborates with are also very talented and they all compliment each other nicely.
I think he keeps getting better and better, not worse.
I will always be a die hard eminem fan...'til the end...

I don't agree with you that eminem is trying to copy 50 cents commercial i think that he has established himsekf and he is an artist in his own right and i don't hink he needs to look to 50 for musical inspiration or direction. i don't think that he makes commercial songs because he isn't takin as much time over his lyrics i think there is an underlying msg in those songs although they may not be as deep as some of his other material but its what sells and everynow and then i think he likes to have a luagh and take the piss.Mosh is quite recent and it i think its lyrical genius.
