do you use shortcut?

when you write somthing to someone or chating with people do you write in shortcuts like: u, r, g8, omg and more things?
i think i use it all the time here i try to do it without shortcuts but in chat and so on i cant:D U?

YES, it has affected my writing in other areas. Like when I'm trying to write professionally sometimes I will accidentally type ur or u or something like that. It's terrible. I mean I love it for chatting since it is faster but it's unfortunate that my brain has started to think that way. Oh my, and texting, is even worse, i'll use every shortcut you can imagine!

You have to keep in mind some people dont use short cuts and dont understand it. I have to keep in mind where im typing. I catch myself sometimes using short cuts here.
