Are women going backwards

Is it me or after so many years of fighting to be recognised as equals and actually getting self respect are we going backwards? It drives me up the wall that women in the public eye do not seem to have any self respect anymore. I watch the TV and think what is this world coming too - I cannot watch the music channels anymore as I am fed up of seeing women's bits and pieces!
And it doesn't stop there as a nearly 30 year old with no children I have switched on the parental control on my sky otherwise after 12 its channel after channel of women talking on phones and touching themselves!!
I am no prune but I feel like all young women today have got upward struggle of ever finding true love it apparently does not exist anymore they are all supposed to be someone's b+++h!

Its indeed sad what the black ghetto ideals have done to the status of women. I think the music channels should have just banned rap videos the first time they started telling teens it was normal for a man to beat his girlfriend and call her rude names all the time. No wonder young women have such low morals, all their heroes tell them its the way to live.

It seems to be getting worse.
I just flicked through the tv and just about every channel is women being degraded.
