Linux problem

I have a problem. I have had linux installed on my PC. One day when I turned it on and entered linux, after a while it has just frozen. After I restarted it, PC could not detect my HDD. Im sure that HDD is working properly because i tested it on my other PC. Please help me

Try to check that the hard disk is properly connected to the cables (power and data). Then give it a try. If it is still not working, you can try replacing the IDE drive, and also use an alternate power connector.
