Hey, I would love it if someone could tell me what kind of fish can live in peace with Gouramis. I have 3 (a blu, a gold, and an opaline) in a 50 gallon and they kill everything else i put in there. Except catfish and my pleco. Anyone have any experience with this?

It may be worth removing the gouramis from the tank and let new fish establish and then re-introduce the gouramis one by one. This method sometimes cures fish of aggression.

I have a couple of gouramis in a 4ft X 15" tank along with neons, cories and ottos... and an angel fish. So far no fatalities whatsoever.

Plecos are a type o catfish. Another type of fish that would work with your gouramis would be a mid sized Central or South American cichlid such as a firemouth. Danios and rainbow fishes are fast swimmers that can stay out of the way of these territoral fish. Also if you have plenty of cover such as live plants there will be more places for the fishes to get out of sight from the more aggressive fish. You can read more and ask questins about fish on Aquabid.com.
