I love making round steak with mushroom gravy, using cream of mushroom soup. I add onions and carrots, and spice it up a bit, but it is so good.

My family loves pulled pork barbeque. I found a seasoning packet at WalMart in the seasoning packet section. I get a small pork roast and lay it in the crockpot. I add the seasoning packet and the vinegar and ketchup that it calls for. It cooks all day and gets fork tender! You literally take a fork and shred it. It is divine! I always get two meals and a few lunches out of it!

I enjoy a good roast, cooked all day in a can of beef broth or beef gravy. Add potatoes and whole carrots and whole onions. YUMMY.
Then the following day, I use the leftover broth/gravy and remainder of the meat chopped up, add frozen vegetables and diced potatoes & carrots and I have a nice pot of vegetable soup without ever washing the crockpot inbetween the two meals!

Beef stew, or fried pork chops with cream of mushroom soup over it.
Or just a good old roast is devine in there!

Try this crockpot dish. It's called Cholent. (Holent)
Cut a whole sausage into bite sized pieces. Add about a pound of stew meat. (You can use any kind of meat).
Now add 4 or 5 different kinds of beans. I use 1 can of black beans, navy beans, butter beans, red beans and kidney beans. Add 4 or 5 medium potatoes cleaned and chopped into bite sized pieces. Add one sweet onion chopped. Salt and pepper.
Your family will love this and usually ask for more.
Serve with french bread.
