Without preaching, what are some of your spiritual beliefs? Keep it brief pleas

I personally am Buddhist. I believe in the doctrine of Buddhism because it fits most closely with what I personally believe to be Truth. I would like to know what others believe and why. Please keep it brief and don't quote scripture. I am looking for personal feelings and experiences, not what your particular doctrine tells you to believe.

I am Tibetan Buddhist, I believe in practicing compassion, cultivating virtue, religious practice to help focus the mind and study of texts. My experiences have been profound and continue to develop, I feel a closeness to the teachings and teachers and positive change when I learn something new or practice.
