Never! I love America too much for that. As messed up as it might be, it's still the best country in the world.

There is no amount of money for which I would betray my country. There are many things wrong with my country, and many thinks I hope will change, but it is still MY country.
As I child I was not patriotic because my heritage is half Native American, and I felt I couldn't be patriotic because of it. However, years have passed, and I've come to realize that America as it is now has little to do with the people that came here and caused such harm to my ancestors. I have become a very patriotic person, because despite its many flaws, my country is a place where I am free to be myself, which is something I treasue. I'm part of a minority religion, and it means a lot to me that I'm able to practice my religion in the way I wish. Even though freedom of religion in the United States is still something that sometimes has to be fought for, there are many places in the world where people have less freedom.

Thanks for so many kind remarks. =)
I am half Native American and half Irish, and I love learning about my ancestors. As a child I spent many hours listening to the stories of my great-grandparents, and it's a feeling that I will never forget.

Are you kidding me? I would never, never do that. You could be thrown out of your country if things finally turned against you. Where would you sell yourself to live in then?

There is no amount in the world that would get me to sell out my country. This is my home and I love it. I may not love everything about it but I do love it.
Honestly I didn't realize how much until 9/11.
Interesting question friend!
Ok let me turn the questions to you... what would your answers be?

I would never sell my country. It's like selling my mother. And I don't do that.
But i would sell your country (smile).
I remembered that it was a guy here ..who sold Romania's defense plans for 1 million dollars 30 or 40 years ago.In that time.In 1989 we had a Revolution to get rid of comunism. In 1998(or something like that) the guy who sold our country's defense plans was declared a "hero who fought comunism".
In my mind, dear friend...that's still betrayal.YOU JUST DON'T SELL YOUR COUNTRY!
Thank you,my friend for answering and making me rumble again (but I stayed on topic):))

Money is really that powerful. If somebody offered me a really big money enough to buy all people living on earth, i would think of it because nobody is crazy to give money without getting anything in return. Say yes to money you have worked for but no for a spam money.

I don't sell my country at any cost because though it is the poor country due to corrupts and many illegel bribes....I can promise that my country would be the best if it falls into the hands of good one. This country even provides maximum number of software engineers, scientists, which helped a lot in inventing computer by giving importance to zero.
I am proud of my country.

Your country has quite a sad history so far.
I am glad that you are proud of your country.I am proud of mine, too.
It is sad that countries with not that good economy are giving very good scientists t the world. And it's even more sad the fact that they are usualy not appreciated in their own country, therefore they leave as soon as posible.
Best of luck and thank you for answering.

5 billion pounds is way too small for my country's price. You know why? Because my country is way too PRICELESS. Not even a thrillion or zillion amount of money can pay the price of my country. I don't meant to sound like a hero or anything. I just love my country no matter how poor we belong in the list. Yes, we're among the 3rd World country and a lot of corrupt officials, but the value that our country has can't compensate any price. I love my country so much and I won't dare betray it. :)

Even if im currently living in a 3rd world country and most of the population here is poor- and our goverment owes a LOT OF MONEY to the World bank- i would never sell my country to anyone or in any price whatsoever. My country has a lot of Untapped potentials, if provided with the right government with the right sincere UNCORRUPT people running the government, im sure our economy and the status of our country will grow and eventually improve. It just so happened that corruption is eating the minds of our government officials and this hinders our country from improving... i do pray that theres still hope for a better future in our country though.
