I will tell you what worked for me. Mylot wants total participation. That means rating responses in your discussions and the ones you visit. You can find the rules to rating in the guidelines the link is at the bottom of each page. Picking best response to your discussions.
Starting quality discussions and responding to quality discussions with quality responses. It's not how much you can post it's about the quality of the responses made.
You can earn with photos right now in 2 ways. One is to upload to the interest section so long as the pictures is relevant to the interest and that you own the copywrite. You may also upload in the discussions that you start. After posting 500 posts you will be able to upload into others discussions.
If you can referrals can be a way to earn extra as you get 25% from them, just remember that most will come few will stay.
Mylot is a great place. Welcome and much success. If I can help further I'm happy to do so just ask. :)

I joined a month ago and will receive my first payout by March 15th. It currently is $37.37 but subject to change until final payout. It can change if they delete any discussions that I responded to. I try to be very careful with the discussions that I respond to. Just a heads up about the deletion of discussions and sometimes your responses. Be sure to follow the guidelines and refer to them often. :)
Your very welcome for the info and I hope that it helps. :)
