I keep my cats inside all the time. I dont mind cleaning litter as long as I know mine are safe and not eaten, run over by a vehicle or worse. I would be a nervous wreck if one was missing!

My baby is an inside only cat. I dread the day she wants to go outside, I live in the city - it scares me to think about.:(

My cats do not go outside. One day a neighbor boy came over and left our door open two of them got out. I was so sick I made my husband come home to help me look for them, it took us a couple of hours to find them they did not go far they were hiding and so scared. I will never forget this experience I never want to feel this again.

I have 2 indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat. The indoor cats are not allowed to go out and the outdoor cat is not allowed in. The outdoor cat was just a kitty, that could barely walk when we found it. someone had set it out to die. We brought it home and thought we would find a home for it but nobody wanted it so we kept it.
There are alot of cats outdoors in our area

Both for our family. It works where we live. She's a scaredy-cat so she won't go too far for too long. Strangely, she only uses her litter box (indoors). She's young. I just don't think she's figured out that she could use the great outdoors known as our backyard.
She's in at night and only out when we're around. She's being raised by dogs (other than her human parents). So she usually follows suit. They go out and come in together.
Whatever works. Whatever makes the parent feel safest.

My lil girl is an inside cat however i cant keep her from wanting to get outside hehe. I have huge windows in my house and shes always in them looking outside, then as soon as someone opens the door shes trying to get out :) thankfully i own my property so im not too stressed about it. Ive had alot of outdoor/indoor cats in my life, they go out, hunt eat, and come back in lol.
Im hoping that if she does manage to get out, that thats all she will want to do.
Right now i think shes pregnant, because she did get out a fw weeks ago, so she seems to have no desire to get outside anymore. Maybe she will stay in, but our doors are often open for the summers...

Well, I technically only have 1 cat but my mom has 2. Our one cat goes outside often. My moms other cat isn't allowed to because he is only here temporarily until my moms boyfriend can come and pick him up.
I don't allow my cat outside because hes a baby and hes terrified of his own shadow!
