Will we ever evolve beyond religion?

You would think that humanity as a whole would eventually kick this religion thing. Now spirituality is a whole different thing being that it is an individual thing for each individual. Isn't that enough? Why must we cluster together to approve, disapprove or make judgments on that which is not group oriented - the soul? It seems like a pretty impersonal problem to me.

This is an interesting topic. I like the idea of evolving beyond religion. Maybe we can at least evolve to tolerating one anothers others in this world. I personally don't have one. I also think religion is an impersonal thing. I do consider myself a spiritual person but I don't feel the need to preach my own personal word.
