How long after u started a discussion do u wait to select the best response? Sometimes there are really good response, but I dont want to mark it yet cause there may be others who may post a better response later. And It seems there is no way to change your selection once u marked it. So, how long u wait before deciding?

The link below very well explains about the "best response" dealing.
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx#bestResp
For your convenience I shall just paste it here...
What is a Best Response?
A Best Response is a response that is chosen by the myLot member that started the discussion and feels the response they chose is the best response to their topic of discussion.
How do I Choose a Best Response?
To Select a Best Response, Go to “My Discussions” and in the “Best Response” box, select which response number you like the best.
Don’t select a Best Response right away, wait a few days. This will give myLot users time to respond to your discussion topic and in return will give you a variety of responses to choose from.
A Best Response should be utilized by all myLot members. Please help other myLot users know that their responses are useful and helpful!
I think this much details would be quite enough for you.
I follow this method and would be fine if you too do the same.
