What rating do you think the fifth movie to the seventh will be?

I know that the first like 3 movies were PG. But when it got to the fourth one, it was PG-13. So that gets me thinking... What are the next ones going to be rated? Are the movies going to get more and more graphic (and therefore in my opinion, better) or will they stay the same? What do you think?

I think they'll endeavour to keep the movie in the PG-13 rating so as to accommodate younger audiences. But as the gets darker with each book, I believe they'll have some difficulty doing this but I hope they succeed as many children are eagerly awaiting to see Harry Potter on the big screen again.

I think it will get a rating of PG-13. I think the movie studio will arrange to keep it just within that line. They don't want to cross over to the "R" rating because then too many of their targeted audience will not be able to watch it. They might get it to go back to the PG rating but I doubt they will due to the nature of the books.

I can only say that none of the movies except I suppose sixth would be awarded a rating above PG-13. Sixth movie may be a bit hot with reference to Harry Potter Series otherwise that also would be too less compared to normal Hollywood movies. As far as graphic is concerned sixth is bound to have more Special Effects than fifth and may be seventh will have more.

THe movies will not be released with a rating above pg-13, after all the target audience is children. I would think that maybe someday there will be uncut verstions released, they may hit R

Since the movies have hit the PG-13 rating I think they'll stay there. They are trying to target a younger audience so I think it is highly unlikely that the rating will go up to an R. JKR noted herself that HP:GoF was the turning point in the series where all of her books would have a much darker current in them. That said, I wasn't surprised with the rating for the fourth movie and keeping with that same tack I think the ratings will stay the same for the rest of the movies.

I think that PG-13 on 5 & 6 anyway. The violence is what is going to give them that rating.
