My cat likes to take his water bowl and drag it across the floor. I think he wants to swim in it. He likes to splash it up to the edge of the carpet. I always thought he was trying to tell me something like, "Move my dish" or "Give me Fresh water" But I've done that and it's the same thing...
I wake up to the sounds of that dish being spun around, dragged, and spilling everywhere. I'd like to train him to stop doing that.
Also he likes to play with my bedroom door. He pushes it back and forth. It's scary to wake up and see the door closing! Any of your pets have weird rituals / habits?
OH! And also my cat likes to paw at my computer screen. That's annoying. I tried being annoying back and poking him while he does it and squirt bottle to get him to move. LOL. He's so dang weird.

The water is probably gettin a layer of dust - and he's trying to get a drink without the dust. I would suggest getting a heavier bowl so he doesn't drag it around and make sure to change the water frequently. (Mine refuse to drink out of bowls - I have to leave the facet dripping in the bathroom!)
His other 'habits' are playing. Get him some toys he can toss around and chase or bat around. Or do what I did - get a second cat to keep the first one company, so he'll have a playmate.

Yeah I need to get him a better dish. I hear cats love faucet water a lot better because (obviously) it's fresher and they know that. My cat goes for the tub and sinks too.
I would love to get my cat a playmate. I don't know if my apt will let me have two cats but I think he definitely needs a little buddy. Sometimes I think I'm just like a boring TV show to him. I try to be fun....haha.
However he's kind of a dominate cat so I'm afraid of having crazy fights in my little 1brdm.

No, your cat is not weird. Just a cat with unique ideas of play and communication. My cat will stick her paw into my mouth in the morning, if she is hungry. Both of my cats will not drink out of a bowl. Only the running water from one sink in one bathroom. They are creatures of habit, and it is hard to untrain them. The water bottle is the best though.
