I have a friend whom I met with,online on orkut.We were very much familiar after a period of time.Then she on her own gave me her no.I used to call sometime her.All of a sudden she disconnected from orkut,and her no too.But after some day I got a message that her no reached to unknown hands and now she were getting unwanted messages and calls.she did not forget to mention that she trusted me and was sure that I was not responsible for that.But she is afraid that she would be victim another time.i suggested her that she should definitely do what she thinks was right.Though she is in contact with me through one of her friend on orkut but one lesson I got that haste makes waste.Unless you are sure about that person .you should never give your contact no. to him.

I too do not give my mobile no to each and everybody. I disclose only to my near and dear. Sometimes it creats problem, if mobile/phone number is generalises, many people may give the number to their relatives. Resulting in unnecessary calls even at odd time. If we give it to strager, he/she may blackmail us. Unwanted calls may come.

hi, i am into sales and i used to give my number to customer to which most of the time i never knew the people in person. I just never responded to people who make fun or use to call me without any business matters..

Normally i won't give mine to strangers.... but if a super-gorgeous, sexy and beautiful lady asked me, I might just give it without even asking her name and why she wants my number LOL

only to friends and family. never anyone ive met over the internet. i hate talking on the phone as it is, and get enough telemarketing calls, i certainly dont want "misc" ppl calling too!

LOL. My motto...if you have to ask for my #, I guess I didn't want you to know it. But seriously, no I would never give my number to a stranger...especially someone I only know online. I remember one time while at work a customer wouldn't take no for an answer so I gave him my fax number. He got the hint !

how can we give the mobile numbers to all.Now-a-days all r miss using the numbers and they r circulating them to others and giving some vulger mess.. so plz donot give mobile numbers to stangers.
