I can only think that this subject is empty because nobody watched TV anymore, particularly in the 14 to 26 demographic!
Everyone is surfing the net meeting people on social sites. will my kids know TV as I do or will they just use it for the news? Will we watch programmes or will we download them. Will the net get all the ad revenue that won't be on TV?
Is this good or bad?

I don't watch tv. TV here in new zealand is s***. It comes on six months late, sometimes never (from the u.s). It's not even offered digitally the last time I checked (which would have been about two years ago). It's not formatted for widescreen either.
I download everything I watch and have been since I was 13 (2002)

Most of the programmes on television are now either repeats or quiz shows or reality television. None of these really appeal to me anymore but I do watch some shows in the evenings. I don't think television will suffer from the increase in internet use, it will always be there

That's absurd... Everyone still watches TV. I am in that demographic, and me and all of my friends watch copious amounts of TV. TV is still the most popular media, tons of people watch TV over computers. Downloading or watching shows on the internet is vastly less popular than watching TV...
