Is it possible or not? I know someone who keeps buying things, regardless of if they can afford them or not and even when they promise to stay away from it, keep going back. I would class this as a form of addiction, what do you think?

Anything that keeps them away from family, job, regular activities, friends, a social life, ect can be considered an addiction. If they are neglecting other things in their life for that. I love e-bay and I have done bidding on there before. With my experience I have felt like it was some competition. I'd tell myself I'd only spend a certain amount of money on an item, and then when someone outbid me I'd get so upset I'd just keep bidding. It be a little battle until finally I knew I'd break the bank if I didn't stop. I can see how it can be addictive.

I do the same thing!!! LOL When someone outbids me on something I really really want, I always try to make sure they pay as much as possible. If i'm not gonna win, they better be paying a ton of money for it!!! I sometimes just go to random items on Ebay, even things that I have no intention to buy, and place bids, just to make other people bid more. Haha, sorry to anyone that I might have done this too, and your welcome to the others that I have helped make more money. LOL

Yep, I agree with you. I think the Internet is like many things. They can be great so long as you use them responsibly. But you can be addicted to things on it too. Is someone able to go in and changer her password or something? You might need to intervine so he/she does not go to far into debt.

I would say that is an addiction!! That is sad that they keep buying things even if they can't afford it!
