do you earn extra when you resolve your own discussion?

i have a lot of unresolved discussions. mainly because i haven't chosen the best response yet. and this is because i still want others to post their views on my topics. i've observed that some people won't respond to topics with "best response" already.
but anyway, just want to know if you earn extra if you do resolve this? so that i can go back to my topics and choose 1 lucky mylot member. =)

I don't know if you get more money, but I think the person who's response you select does. So, it's worth it for them. And the person you mark is likely to respond to your discussions more often, garnering you more money that way. It's a worthwhile endeavor for your karma. Good deeds beget good deeds.
