Do 100 watt bulbs use more energy than 75 or 60 watt bulbs?

Or do they just burn brighter?

Light bulb wattage is a measurement of power used. 100 Watt light bulbs will probably burn brighter also, unless they are a lot less efficient.

No idea mate. But i think that a 75 or 60 watt bulb consumes less energy as compared to a 100 watt bulb.

yes they do since 100 watt bulbs shines brighter then it consumes more energy to produce such brightness. greetings. : )

They are brighter and they cost more and they consume more energy and your bill later is larger. And of course that amount of light is dangerous for your eyes. Use only 60 watt bulbs. They are better. You can find in thge market these ones that they consume less energy and they are really economic and they live longer than the ones everyone uses.
