harry potter or agatha christie

recently i had a fight with one of my friends regarding which is better agatha christie or harry potter for me harry is far better ........ wat r ur views??

In my opinion thats not even a competition. Harry Potter is way ahead. It's more popular and more readable. It's got great characters and good storylines that everyone knows and loves.

How can you compare an author with a character and say that one is better than the other? And it's ridiculous to try to say that one genre is better than another. Fantasy for children and mysteries for adults aren't even apples and oranges; they are more like apples and hamburgers.

Harry Potter, without a doubt. I've never really been interested in mysteries or Agatha Chrisitie. I would only read her if there was nothing else available.
