haha..
you know what..i have good story for the phrase "A is for Apple"
the alphabet was made because americans use it..and when they were trying to expand they taught us that a is for apple, b is for boy, c is for cat, and so on..
they did this because they want us to remember america..
because originally, apples were grown in the US..
so here's the real story..it's actually about my professor..
he was late for school and it was his english class..
he was like in the 1st grade back then..
so as a punishment the teacher wanted him to recite the "a is for apple..blah blah blah" stuff..but the catch is, he recites it backwards..so he started with "z is for zebra.." and so on..
and when he got to A..he suddenly forgot what A was for..so he was like kicking his seat mate for an answer..and the d u m b seat mate said..
"ATIS"
so my professor was punished..^_^
by the way..Atis is a local fruit in the Philippines..^_^
