In this world cup i think that india will win if it takes sinlges and keep rotating the strike. The more dot balls are allowed to the opponent, the more difficult it will be for the indian team to accumulate good totals. Therefore the indain batsmen should rotate the strike by taking sinlges. Boundaries will come automatically.

ya the no. of dot balls matter...guys like dravid are pretty good at rotating the strike pinching ones and twos..the running must improve, especially in the middle overs...if wicketts are in hand and guys like sehwag ganguly inthere it would be better to attack the spinnerss instead off trying to rotate strike (against thier natural instincts)thereby allowing the bowlers to settle...

It is true that dot balls compile pressure, hence it is necessary to keep rotating the strike.
But now the level of one day cricket has risen to a level that boundaries are really important to post a good score.
Indian cricketers should realize that to big the big teams it is necessary to maintain wickets, keep taking singles with boundaries and have big partnership.
For the bowlers it is necessary to maintain discipline in bowling line and length and keep taking wickets at regular intervals.

Yes your assessment is spot on. I also feel we will need to build big partnerships by taking singles, by rotating strike so that pressure in not allowed to build on one batsman esp. when chasing a big total and also to keep score board moving. And then when bowler bowls occasional lose delivery, despatch it to the boundary with no risk. Besides one should try to convert ones into twos and twos to threes by running hard between wickets and putting pressure on fielders. If Indian team does all these things India will surely win world cup if backed by good bowling and fielding.

Indian players are always good at taking one run...
even if two runs r available.....
so dnt worry about singles indian team will only score in 1,4 or somtimes 6's...
