Why do most cartoons portray cats as villains?

Actually Animals with sharp nails and Sharp teeth are not liked by us (human) for a long long time. Actually our inner mind is afraid of them. And cats can hide their nails! and are always ready to scratch us and bite us. But they are playful. they are charming. They are funny. In one hand they are very Charming and in the other hand they have a villain like personality. So, everyone portray them a villains. Note: I LIKE CATS AND I HAVE A CAT OF MY OWN.

Because cats are predators. That's in their nature ;)

Because cats are evil. LOL I love my cats like they are kids, but just like a kid they are pretty evil and do things to spite others around them.

That's a good question, and maybe it's why a lot of people perceive cats as "evil". You hear people all the time saying that they don't like cats because they are vicious. Cats definitely have minds of their own, and will let someone or something know if it doesn't like it, but they do not attack people or other animals; other than insects and mice, but I think that the "hunting instinct" is what causes that. Cats are predatory by nature. The cats that I have had have been nothing but docile and lovable.

Because that's exactly what cats are, lovable villians. Have you seen a cat play with a bird, or mouse. Can you tell a cat what to do? No, but a cat can tell you what to do. It will tell you when it's feed time, and bed time, and time to go out, they're much smarter than dogs.

because most cats are villains of cource! cats sneak up on you. cats pretend to cuddle, then they suddenly attac. Cats are sneaky, cats are basically villains.
