The 2007Chengdu Temple Fair was open at Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum at 7:30 on the evening of February16,2007. More than 3,000 festival lanterns and 12 groups of large lanterns with the theme of the culture of the Three Kingdoms reflect the happines of the Spring Festival.The venue also is the right place for people to enjoy delicious food,amusing performance and interesting games from all over China, as well as from foreign countries.
Most of the celebrating activities during the fai are related to the Three Kingdoms and wisdomof the zhuge Liang(Prime Minister of the Shu Kingdom),such as barrow wheel and the Crossbow named after the prome minister,a symbol of loyalty and wisdom in the Chinese history.The fair is also a venue of various kinds of foodand snacks in China,and vistorcan relish almost everything they like at one place.The folk acrobatic show os a must on the fair,while the face-changing and spitting fire of the Sichuan Opera never fails to win applauses from the audience.
