Well Ofcourse the politics and also the extra money they earn by doing adds....

Politics!!! No selector in our panel is answerable to the nation. They are all regional in thought. Also the money that the BCCI earns is spent in filling the pockets of the gentlemen in the board. If by some chance it percolates to the grass roots levels India would have performed far better. One more thing is India plays far too much cricket. The players are to be given atleast one season off..the whole season. That is when the players get fit and play to their potential a la New Zealand.

you sound right about the politics. Thats the virus which is infecting the whole Indian system. But the Indian team plays cricket all the seasons beacuse they think that will give them lot of practice. I think the board should look for more and more of new and young talent.
