I don't think so. THere isn't all that much hype and it seems to have a smaller target audience. I think it looks awesome and I'm definitely gonna go see it. The graphics and cinematography seem awesome and the action looks sweet.

I agree..it will be an epic movie. It will put Troy and the others to the rear. The cinematography were great. The concept was incredible, look for more movies to follow suite.

I'm a movie buff watched quite a few. Usually I 'll grab a video and go to the theater only if I feel the movie really good. I watched 300 preview during Black Diamond. I've been waiting patiently for it to come to the theaters. I hope I won't be disappointed the previews where impressive.

It was announced just this morning that it made 70.2 Million dollars-- in two days! This is the new record for biggest March opening weekend.

i wish it could as 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..
