Where do you think politicians get their money when they advertise themselves on TV? Since i was a kid in our province there are already persons who's getting names on our street and if you say you will vote for this "MR. MAYOR" or "MR. SENATOR" they will give you 100 pesos. Where did they get that 100php? And how will they gain by giving you 100php? My father always told me not to accept any money from that people, He will always say they will give you 100 pesos and he will rob you 10 times. Now i understand what my father is saying and I think this is also the reason why Philippine economy dont progress. What do you think!?

You said it right. Sometimes those who receive say that there's no use anyway because if they can't get the people to vote for them, they cheat the ballots, they change the results to their advantage and so the poor people prefer to accept even if it's only P100, poor Filipino. I hope that election would change in the future.
