do you think kids that are a little slow should get home work

Yes, otherwise it is just drawing further attention to the fact that they are struggling. At our school if a child is having a very hard time of it but putting in the effort, parents are counseled to have them stop after 20 mintes.

They should get homework and parents should help teach them. It will help the child to improve. it would be more a one on one with the child. Teachers dont have a lot of time for one on one with all the children in class. I think parents should take a bit part in the childs education.

Yes I think that kids that are slow should get some homework so they can spend some time at home with there parents with one on one help in the subjects that they need work on, not alot but yes they need to keep there minds active and work on this the best that they can. and in no way is that mean...If they are a little slow there are special teachers and special classes also that are available for them to attend.
