Is anyone else upset about the new asthma inhalers? Maybe I don't understand why they had to change. But I have read that it has to do with the environment. I understand that, but unless I am confused (which can happen ha ha) I don't understand why they have to take away good inhalers that keep people alive yet they keep stupid things like spray deodorants and air freshner and stuff. I guess that stuff is more important than life giving air? I hate my new inhaler. It tastes gross and doesn't even seem to work at all.

I use the Blue Ventolin and the Purple Seretide Inhaler. Do you use to purple one?

I was using Albuterol. I've been on tons of different inhales as I've had asthma for 30 years. But I'm not sure I know of the purple one.

Do they really taste different? I haven't picked up my new one yet. Actually, I didn't even know they were switching them until I saw a poster about it at my doctor's office.
I agree with you...why do they still use so many other aerosol products, but make the important things like medications switch?!

Yes, mine tastes different. But I wonder if some of this is in my head because I read a lot of internet discussion before I actually experienced the changeover. So I expected the worst. I never even knew there would be a change till I ran across it online. Neither my doctor or pharmacy notified me of the change. That kind of upset me.
