Worsh year ever

I can't say that I think it's the worse year yet, infact I'm really enjoying it. Have you noticed that Simon doesn't seem to be as harsh this year and that Randy seems to be the one who doesn't like most people? I have to admit that I was surprised with the result show on Thursday night, I think that Sanja (unsure of spelling) kid should have left.

I have been feeling the same way - but there are a few really great talents this year - Lakisha and Melinda for sure. I still have funny Valentine in my head. But otherwise, it has been a somewhat lackluster year. I'm not giving up yet, though, and will heep watching and soon start voting. Lately I have been missing the live version and watching the next day taped so could not vote. When I vote, I vote more than once for all the people I like, ranking them by the number of votes I give. As the season goes on, I limit the number of people I vote for. I voted for several hours for Katherine McPhee last year, and still feel she should have won over Taylor. I like Taylor, but feel Katherine has more staying power in this industry. She is already doing better than he has so far.

I am not impressed with this year's 07 contestants at all compared to previous years. There is clearly no tight competition as oppose to last years contestants. Last year each of the final contestants were as good as the rest. With this years I can easily pick the very few (4) who has talent and star quality. Also the women are doing much better than the men.

Yes I agree. I have watched every year and this is the first time they are rushing through everything. All the steps they go through have always taken more time. The auditions especailly used to take much longer.

not talent wise..no. There are a few girls & guys that are really good. Look at past seasons, Ruben..not to good... and he WON. I know there are people that'll say Clay, but I didn't care for him either. And how many of the contestants from Kelly Clarkson's year are around ? The best year was last year, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudsaon, Catherine McPhee. Now they had talent. I think they let a few people stay after Hollywood that are not up to caliber with the rest.

I think it might be you. Because there are some really good singers on the show this season. Malinda Doolittle and Lakishia I think the girls are better than the boys this year...there were outstanding talents last year but it's still a good show...

Yeah, I haven't really gotten into the show this year. If I miss it, I miss it. I don't tape it or watch it and tape something else. I flipped over at the end of Survivor last night just to see who was gone but it really didn't make a difference to me. I don't know what it is but I'm just not feeling it.

Yeah this hasn't been the best year. I miss Constantine and Georgie... I realize they can't come back but I'd like someone fiery like Constantine. Or "cute and funny" like Georgie. Those were really good years! I can't imagine how many times I voted for Georgie!
