Moon turns into blood Saturday

News reports say that the moon will turn a "copper" color on Saturday night, but the Bible talks about the moon turning into the color of blood right before the world comes to an end. Look at what has happened, even today. Tornadoes kill high schoolers in Alabama. The Iranian president visiting Saudi Arabia, bitter enemy of Iran. Stock market out of control. Sunspots overactive, triggering global warming. Ice melting, oceans overflowing, wars surging. Maybe it's just time to say goodbye.

Well, it´s Saturday night here in Europe. As you said it´s an eclipse and can be seen best in Poland and Germany. I don´t live in either of these two countries. Unfortunately all I can see is a starless sky, no red moon in site.
Oops, it´s already 2.00 am, I didn´t realise it was that late.
I´m still alive, the world hasn´t come to an end (not yet), but I don´t know how much longer our planet will carry on turning, if we keep treating it like we do.

The moon's color turning into the color of blood is but a sign that the world is about to end. It likely won't happen just this minute.

Good Byeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Or maybe God is coming... and it's Hellooooooooooo!
Fact is that I have seen the moon that colour many times in Australia. Nothing new in this.
It is actually very pretty to watch. It rises behind a hill were I live... and it is huge... twice as big as it normally is. Which make me think that it is closer to Earth than usual... and that might affect its colour.

Scientifically, it is an eclipse in which the earth blocks sunlight to the moon. I'm not necessarily saying this marks the end of the world, but that the end of the world is supposed to be heralded by a moon that changes to the color of blood, or copper.

No, I do not fear the end of the world, and actually would like to be around when it happens.

*Smiles wryly* I think I've seen the moon that color about I dunno..three or four times in my lifetime alredy? The world must've ended and we just haven't realized it yet, huh?
Seriously though, I don't take that much stalk in the Bible. I've long known it's a pretty fictional book with a few good ideas in it. But no one's gotta agree with me, this is my educated assumption after alot of studying, alot of digging, someone's nice pointing out that it's historically inaccurate, and some of my stumblings through the subject..people can make their own assumptions.
We've been killing out planet for ages, what else is new? We've always had wars, it's not really that big of a guess about Arabia and Iran..as far as I know they've been enemies pretty constantly since forever basically..the stock market's kinda a stupid idea to begin with..stars-- well stars live very long lives. Ours is pretty young in comparison..but things happen, it could go nova on us in our sleep..who knows? And nature is trying to compensate for the damage e're doing anyway..
It's sad. But it's not really news. The Mayan's had the 2008..some people have guessed we'll be wiped out by 2011 0r 2012.
Hello or goodbye. I've said it already to both my past and my future. Because..I'll be forever meeting both of them, and bidding them farwell.
It's a point of view. The world's always falling apart. But life's creative. Even if we're wiped out it'll come up with something new. And as long as some kind of life continues..I don't know if this sounds cold or not, but I don't frankly care. If I could do something, I would..but little old me can't save the world..so I'll stick with saving who and what I can..none of us can do much more.

I'll allways leave one small chance, a posibility that there could be a non-scientific explanation of things or their corelation, but so far the most reliable thing is physics. Almost everything can be explained with the laws of physics. The whole universe is based on it. And of course your copper moon can be explained by it aswell. As I'm not a physisist I can't give you an exact explanation on the subject, but I do know, that it's got to do something with the particles or gasses in the atmosphere and the way sunlight reflects on them, when it shines on the moon... Or with the combination of that words in another sentence... :) But that's a fact. But it is assumed that the moon has an influence on the events that are taking place on earth and it's not just the movement of the sea. It is well known that people are behaving diferently when the moon is full. And there's allways that familliare AUUUUUU... that ecoes in the woods...
