Hidden Agenda of my boss

I happen to be on duty when they informed me about a regular clinic on Saturday in a certain place where our company just had a medical mission. They wanted the nurses to come there. I was thinking why they had the company nurses go beyond the scope of their work.. from company to a community/public health nurse. And apparently to my surprise I heard that hte vice president has a plan of runing as a MAYOR I think form that place.. Isn't unfair to use a company and it's workers without even asking from it.. Shouldn't it be questioned. To tell you frankly the employees here are poorly heard.
