What should I say?

My brother just moved out of the house and in to an apartment in like two days. He took all of his belongings and moved out with his friends. My mom keeps saying to everyone"oh he just took a couple of things,he'll come crawling back". In my mind im ready to say"mom he even took his bed, hes gone for good". Except I dont want to make her cry and look like an a-s-s. What should I do?

Well, if the brother is of age, and responsible, and can make it on his own, your mom should be proud and convert the room to what she wants! LOL i don't think she should be telling people he'll come crawling back, because if that gets back to him, and he does actually need to come back to her house, then he'll probably be less likely with that comment ringing around his head.
