What To Do When You Do Not Have Enough Molasses

Have you ever went to make a recipe using molasses only to find out that you still need a small amount of molasses to make the recipe. Well you can make your own. This recipe is to add with the real thing not to depend on totally for molasses.
Mix 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
with 1/4 cup water
This will make 1 cup of molasses

Never thought of doing this! I have run out of molasses once or twice and stood there dumbfounded as to what to do next. Thank you for the helpful hint!
