Come on those 80s and 90s girls - where are you?
Do you still listen to the New Kids on the Block? Do you sit alone and just crank up their cds.
I will tell you, even though the guys have moved on (most of them successfully I might add!) I think they did well for themselves. THEY are the ones who came after The Beatles, and before the Backstreet Boys or the rest of those copycat boybands. They WERE the ultimate boy band. The New Kids on the Block consisted of Jon Knight, Jordan Knight, Joe Mcintyre, Danny Wood, Donnie Wahlberg. The five kids of show business.
Where some of them are now is beyond me. However Donnie and Joe went onto acting, Jordan is still in music, as in Dan. Jon went into seclusion.
So tell me, are you still a blockhead?

Joey went into acting?! I never saw anything he was in! :)
I was a huge fan in the late 80s/early 90s, but I grew out of it as I started listening to different music styles. I do still like listening to some of their old stuff on rare occasions, but I don't think I'm going to check out their new stuff--it's really not my type of music anymore.
Last I checked, though, all my old cassettes were still at my dad's house... :)

Loud and Proud!! I have always been a blockhead, even when it wasn't cool, and now they are back, I am estatic.

I saw this & just had to reply, I am still a BIG blockhead!!! I was only 11 when they became known here in Oz with (You Got It) The Right Stuff. My fave always was & always will be Joe, I even have his solo album!!! Oh yeah, I have Jordan's too - They only released 1 each here. I still have my posters & pic, etc & my Hangin Tough T-Shirt!!! They were the first boy band I was ever in to!!
