Why are the Fans Psychotic?

They are just yobs who use football as an excuse to fight! I remember going to see Arsenal with my son and the away crowd were vile. One man spat on a boys head. I did not realise that grown men could act like idiots and the rivalry between the fans was embarrassing. Even the footballers themselves would come up to the crowd and wind them up. This is never shown when televised and they wonder why there is still violence amongst the opposing fans. It is very tribal when you go to see a match and not something I enjoyed, even though I love football. I prefer to sit in the comfort of my own home and watch a match now, there are too many nutters who use it as a way of getting their anger out!!
