Hello jencai, I know it's hard sometimes but we don't have any choice but to follow it's rules if we still wanted to be part on this forum site.
However, it would be better at least if you could post a thread which it speaks your mind about such situation and maybe then, you could help people around here that needs also to learn our own dialect. Who knows? that would be a great idea to many out there...just always think in any positive ways. Goodluck! :-)

Well, I guess this site would help us alot in learning more about the english language. By being here in mylot improves our english communications and proficiency, just try participating more while you're here. And you might learn more about the language, as for me, it really helped me alot by joining using it here..!;)

Yeah, it's a rule that you should post discussions and response in english only. This is one thing I have learned just yesterday. I responded in a discussion encouraging filipinos to post response in tagalog. I was hessitant at first because I dont know if it is OK, but I didn't know that there is actually such a rule so I responded in Tagalog anyway. I make it a a habit to view discussions I have responded to and this morning, I noticed that that specific topic is missing. I guess it was deleted by the admin. I just want to take this oportunity to apologize to the admin for not knowing such rule. I missed the point that we may be offending other members by posting responses in a language that they can not understand. For this, I am sorry.

Hindi yata pwede and ibang language dito as mode of posting pero allowed naman kung gagawa ka ng thread for teaching tagalog like "Learn to speak tagalog". OK lang naman ang English kalabaw like mine...lol; basta na ge-ges nila.
(I think it's not allowed to use other languages [except english] as mode of posting here except if you want to made thread that aims to teach tagalog like "Learn to speak tagalog". It's ok if your English is not good, like mine...lol; as long as they can understand.)

Hmm~ interesting question. Yeah, I've wondered about that, but I guess it's better to use English - even though it's not the finest - because this is an international discussion after all.^^
Other people might find it rude that we're speaking in our native tongues, thinking that we must be discussing something about them. So I guess it is best to speak in English. Para asteeg! \m/^_^

This site does not only cater Filipinos, right? Then why would be limit ourselves to writing discussion in our native tongue only? If we only have a bucket or teaspoonful of English, then why not harness it here in MyLot? People who want to join MyLot and still they only have a handful of the English language, could still join.
I applaud and salute the Chinese here in MyLot for they really tried their best in English... in no time, they would notice it that they already are fluent with the English language! I am happy that they really would want to fit in the "English-speakers."
In no time, English will be the 2nd language of China after their native languages there (I think there are many dialects there).
If Filipinos who are known in the world as the 3rd or 4th (or between the range of 1st-10th), then why would some in the Philippines limit themselves from harnessing their "English language-capability."
Koreans too are doing everything they could to learn English.
People in the world as of this modern time, are going out of their shells to study other languages especially English, for competency and skills.
Will Filipinos not "fight back" and harness their "English-speaking capability"?
Just asking. Xie xie. Gamsamhamnida.
