I'm not close with my neighbors too. That even the house next to us is owned by our relatives, we are not close to them as well.

Sometimes. No, I'm not that close with my neighbours. I used to play with the kids when I was younger but we grew apart as we got older and we just did our own things. If I do see them out anywhere else, I'd smile and greet them. I still have to be polite to the elder ones like the grandmother or their parents.

I have lived in my house 11 years I know my neighbors to see them. I do not know their names or anything about them. It is not that I dislike them they seem to be good people. I like it this way and it seem that they do too.

I don't talk to them much. Maybe when I move out into my appartment I may. But at home only my parents seem to talk to them. I may see them from time to time. They piss me off a bit because on halloween I do this thing and scare kids. My neighbours come over to talk to my parents and then they stand like 2 feet away watching me. This runes it since I don't want the kids knowing that I'm real.

Neighbours in our nation India are considered more like relations. We talk with neighbours and maintain a very healthy helpful & friendly relationship. We participate together in each others fuctions & joys & griefs alike.

When we see each other outside we smile, wave and say hi, but I can honestly say that I don't know any of their names. Our neighborhood is like yours, quiet and everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. We have talked on several occasions, so I guess trading names should have came up, but it never did. Mostly just made small talk. We're all friendly with each other, and if you need a favor (help moving something or to borrow something) no one would hesitate, but we don't know personal stuff about each other.

Yes. Our neighborhood is very close to each other. Actually, all my friends are my neighbors. One example why our neighborhood is close to each other is you could leave your house keys to them and you could ask for food from them if you don't have one.

Oh yess I do talk to my neighbours... My residence is situated in a peaceful and calm place and the neighbours around almost all are good and helping hands. My next doors are of the same age as I am and are doing great jobs earning good money and they always help me out if I got stuck into any problem.

I have lived in my house for almost 2 years and have said less than 10 words to my neighbor. We are both private people but do wave to eachother when we see one another.

i don't usually see my neighbours at all but i think it is more the way the street is laid out, we all have large front gardens and hedges. the ones i see i will say hello to but it isn't the sort of place where you would come out and talk to neighbours. where i lived before i saw more of m y neighbours and would talk to quite a few of them, I think it was because the road was so small you couldn't escape seeing p eople.

We associate with one family on our road - they are situated the farthest from us too. We rely on each other to take care of animals and homes when either of our families has to be out of town. Or, since they are ailing physically, we will often run small errands for them - like if we are going to the grocery we'll pick up a few items they are needing to save them the trip and all the effort it takes for them to get around.

Well...Since I live here in my apartment I have always got along very good. With almost all my neighbours. They visit me and i visit them almost daily, it could be a disaster if they will argue with me for some reasons and not make me visit anymore. They are like friends to me and i'm sure that is not gonna happend.Sometimes we share material thing and we tale each oder problems of our daily existence. We drink our morning cofee.

As you probably know by now I'm a very talkative type. I talk to almost all my neighbors. I shovel their snow too. Now the neighbors to my North sold their house & I went to help a woman get her car unstuck from the snow & she is my new neighbor. So I do talk to all my neighbors. Even those on a different street. I love talking etc etc. happy postings from Grandpa Bob.
