This applies not just to runescape but to many other games as well. People are always caling other people noobs. what is the point?????? We all started playing at some point, we were all beginners. so shouldn't we help others instead of pull them down with degrading names. What do we do it for anyway, is it so we get the feeling of power and control over that person or what is it?

My friends all call each other noobs as a joke. But it is pretty mean to call someone a noob in a degrading way. You're right. We all were noobs at one time in the games we play. Nubnub.

Personally i only call someone a noob if they are stealing my Xp (attacking the same monster im attacking) but most of the time i don't like out of nowhere walk up to some level 3 and say "hey noob go away" I mean there is no point, i would help them out, i have some friends on runescape that are way better then me and they started after me and we met because i offered him or her free bronze armor.
There is no point to calling people noobs, I just think it makes people feel stronger or more experienced but knowing my friends that were once lvl 3 when i was 50 they are now way better then me, so technically i was the noob. I just think it is pointless.

Most people try to help eachother out but some people are so dumb and ask the most retarted questions about a game that it really bothers you. For example alot of people just buy a game upload it into their computer then they get online with the game and go into games not knowing what to do and really make you lose and they keep on doing it untill they get good. Now if they were to play offline and learn how to play no one would really be called a noob.

it makes people feel good to know that they are better then someone. its just like bullying. people to it to make them feel good and powerful
