Its really satisfying learning to cook. Especially when you know enough to make up your own dishes. I love cooking, even though its reasonably basic things like bakes, pies, stews etc.. It certainly makes the food nicer after you slaved in the kicthen for an hour.

I take care of my father in his ailing days. My wife works 10 to 12 hours a day so I'm the one to do all the cooking. For my father he is easy to cook for as he likes the TV dinners etc. Not my type of meal. But a few times a week I do make a bigger meal for him & myself. My favorite meal to make is a rice dish with a bunch of fresh wok fried veggies & maybe some chicken strips added also. Anyhow I also get a chance to feed dad a TV diner then I leave to pick my wife up early & eat a great Middle Eastern meal at her restaraunt. They serve a great Rabbit & also a great Leg of Lamb dinner. My mouths watering now & it's 3 a.m. here. HAHAHAHA!!! Happy postings from Grandpa Bob

I cook for myself. My mom taught me when I was 12 or 13. I use to have dinner on the table for everyone before my parents came home from work. So yeah I still cook for myself.

When I was younger I would always watch my parents cook. I would help and learn with most of my family members. I know your young but, take some time to have your Aunt maybe help you cook a meal. I use a lot of recipes, and follow that way. I haven't done much on making up my own. Was so affaird of ruining a meal LOL. You might feel as if your a lousy cook now, I think my daughter felt that way as well. But, now she has a family, and she actually does the cooking. She is pretty good at it I must say.

Ever since child hood, there is always somebody who cooks for me. If my Mom couldn't cook for me, our helper will do the cooking but if they are both unavailable. I just order for a delivery.

I'm the main cook for our family. I wish I had a friend that was a chef! My husband will cook on the grill sometimes and he enjoys making breakfast.
