Effect of Ego

Why do peaople suffer from Ego problem. Does it depend on the environment they were put up or on the relations that they had with others.

Ego promlem comes in diverse ways; it could be as a result of poor upbringing, lack of socialisation, environment, ill-treatment while growing up, incessant scolding by superiors, etc

I think social up bringing plays a huge part in how people form their ego. Probably from the way they recieved attention as a child and then with freinds.
