Suggest you get a reader. Reading on a PC can be a nuisance.
I have hundreds of paper books, and I love them dearly, but I think realistically bulk and wear work against them. It's so sad to see a book falling to pieces. e-books can be kept forever. They're also a lot cheaper for readers, which is also better for writers and publishers, because the real cost of producing an e-book is almost nothing. A paper book is a virtual list of expenses, and those have to be built in to the cost to the reader. The costs are high, and can only be recovered if enough are sold. There's also the issues of freight, storage, print quality, and so forth, which are ongoing liabilities.
My books are published as e-books on www.lulu.com, http://www.lulu.com/wanderlaugh and there's a lot to be said for them from a writer's perspective. I can do more with them, add pictures, and generally be as self indulgent as possible in an electronic format. My ambition is to one day something like an e-Book Of Kells.
Actually, ever since I found lulu, I've been coming up with new ideas for them.

I prefer actual books. I think it is very hard to read long texts on the computer. Besides i love my books, I like the way the feel to hold, and how they look on my shelves. I'd never trade them for e-books even if they were more easy to store and take with me
