They call Rome as a Holy Place but is it really a beautiful and a nice place to visit? What's in Rome that you want to see?

I am Italian and I live in Rome and I can assure Rome is a unique town and it is high worth a visit....you can find everything...art, history, literature, shopping, and great things to do at night...I mean...there is so much to see that I cannot say I have seen everything...you can start from the Colosseum , then Campidoglio with its architectural history and the museum it houses...there you can find Romolo and Remo with the she-wolf...this is the symbol of the town because it is said that these two babies were nourished by a she-wolf in the forest and then were the ones who built Rome...or you can to Teatro di Marcello, Bocca della verità (Mouse of truth), then you can go to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trinità dei Monti, Villa Borghese (one of the most important park in Rome) and then there is Galleria Borghese (where there are masterpieces like Paolina Borghese made by Canova, or famous pieces by Bernini and a great painting museum), then there is Galleria di Arte Moderna (a museum where you can find Modern Art) and while visiting these places you are walking into a wonderful park with great gardens where Roman people like going for running, walking, reading, picnics and so on..and i could go on and on...come and visit my town...you'll love it

Rome is a very nice city to visit. There are lots and lots of sights to see. Like the colloseum, the ruins - for instance the temple of the vestal virgins. There are beautiful churches. There are the Vatikan, the Spanish steps, beautiful fountains. Then there are the great shopping oportunities. Great restaurants. Wonderful coffee. great and friendly people. You should really make a visit
