How do i get him to help?

My hubby works nights and sleeps all day. my problem is he never helps out around the house. Yes i understand that because he works all the time and im a stay at home mom, it should be my repsonsiblity but i really wish he would help even a little. It seems like when i do dishes, he makes it a point of cooking and having to use alot of dishes or so it seems. It jsut gets on my nerves because i can not keep up with him and a 2yo!

Oh I know how you feel!! My husband works late and I have two kids so it get tired of taking care of everything. The thing that bothers me the most is trying to be quiet in the mornings when he is sleeping.......I don't have any good advice for you because I do absolutely everything around our house!! I really don't mind doing everything because I would much rather stay home with my kids and clean and all than have to go to work every day =) Husbands don't seem to realize that we would really love it if they just did one small thing for us...like putting up the dishes (my husband makes a huge mess when he cooks to and considers things cleaned up if he piles all the dishes in the sink-like they magically get cleaned when you set them in the sink). Before your hubby goes off to work just ask him to do something small for you and see if he gets it done, once he starts helping out just a little you will appreciate it and hopefully he will realize that you need help sometimes!

exactly! he is the same way with the dishes!!!! seriously..i can do every single dish in the house and he wil lgo in there feel like making a 5 course meal and sign every singe dish in the house!!! I jsut want him to do small stuff like put his dirty clothes in a pile instead of the middle of the floor or put his big old shoes( that i havetripped over many times) by the closet! Just little stuff..i feel like i have to tell him each and every little thing to do...its like..please pick up your shoes...please put your dishes in the sink...no common sense...!!!!
