In your premise, We define unbeliever as those who are not christian... right? Christians go to church (the Building)... to build the Church (the people) by gathering together. When Christians gatherred together they build the CHURCH... churches(the building) is only a place that they define where they could gather comfortably. If the unbelievers gathered with the Church(the gathered believers)what do you think will happen? I believe debates will overflow and will bring no peace between the believers and unbelievers. Unbelievers who share the same believe may gather themselves and build their own church. Christian church(the building) is always open for everyone Believers or None Believers for as long as they are ready to accept what has been taught and not to debate with it. Afterall, having unbelievers in the church(the building) with the CHURCH(the people) would is an oppurtunity in winning the unbeliever's belief. and eventually become one of the believers...If he did...he is no longer unbeliever anymore. For he belong already.

the church is for everyone i am a believer and i go to church god we need not forsake the assembly of ourselves and we need to hear the word to grow in gods word to live better lives so the believer and unbeliever need to go to church because we all need the lord jesus christ in our lives!!!!

Biblically we are encouraged to go to church."not forsaking the assembly of one another"this is so because faith comes by hearing the word of God.Also, how will take an unbeliever to the church that you don't go to and how will they hear without a preacher or teacher.
